If you have questions about alcoholism, we want to help. Alcoholism is a complicated disorder and it doesn’t affect everyone the same way. There are so many different theories about what causes it and everyone seems to have a different opinion about how to best treat it. One thing that makes it such a complicated condition is that it doesn’t just affect the person that drinks, it affects the entire family. It’s confusing and it’s hard to know which way to turn.

We get a lot of alcoholism questions, including how to determine if someone has a problem and how to help a family member with the condition. We are always happy to respond to questions and to help as much as we can. Don’t be afraid to ask; that’s why we decided to create this page.
